Revolut has made available in its application the option of using airport lounges. Fintech introduced the service in paid Revolut Premium and Revolut Metal plans. The first one costs PLN 29.99 / month, the second PLN 49.99 / month.

Airport lounges are the most pleasant places in airports. They offer a comfortable place to spend your free time before the flight, to eat and browse the press or the Internet. Entries to the lounges can usually be made by business class passengers or participants of loyalty programs or ordinary passengers upon payment of an appropriate fee. For example, the use of one of the Warsaw salons at Chopin Airport costs PLN 130.

In Revolt, such a service is also payable - £ 25, or about PLN 122. Saving does not make an impression in Poland, but foreign lounges are usually more expensive.

The service is currently available in the form of beta tests for Premium and Metal plans. The latter has one free entry in the package.

We want to constantly increase the value of paid plans, so that they encourage users to come with us to a higher level. We want to check if this is an option that will arouse the interest of Polish users and perhaps further develop it - says Karol Sadaj, country manager of Revolut in Poland.

In the Revolut application, we can check the opening hours of the nearest airport lounge, view the conference rooms, bar or restaurants. If we think it's worth it, we generate a QR code, we show it at the entrance and use the service. Similarly, it works for each subsequent person. Interestingly, the code can be generated remotely and sent to a friend at the airport in the form of a screenshot.

Revolut introduces this service in partnership with Collinson Group, a London provider of luxury loyalty and benefits services.

How much does Revolut cost?

In the baseline the application is free. It offers bank transfers in 24 currencies and free withdrawals from an ATM up to PLN 800 / month.

The Premium Plan costs PLN 29.99 / month. The limit on withdrawals from ATMs increases to PLN 1,600. And in addition, we get health insurance abroad and insurance for delayed flights and lost luggage. For this, instant access to trading in cryptocurrencies and one-off virtual cards with a variable number.

The Metal plan is more expensive - PLN 49.99 / month. With its use, we can pay up to 2.4 thousand. PLN / month from ATMs without any commission. In addition to the benefits of the lower plan, we also get a concierge service and 1% cashback. for all card payments.

Revolut earns on these plans. Increasing their attractiveness therefore attracts paying customers.
