The almost ready system for e-documentation was thrown into the bin. The new one will cost 90 million
Who will prohibit the rich? - he sometimes sings at the thoughtless expenses of one or other celebrities. This question also comes to mind in the case of a system that was supposed to manage e-documents in offices. The whole was almost ready, until suddenly it was decided to entrust work on the system to a completely different company.
NASK signed a conceptual contract with Laboratorium EE - according to Puls Biznesu . This means that the previously ordered system for managing electronic documentation for public administration called eDOK 4.0 will go to the trash. The quick change of decisions was not difficult - orders regarding research and development do not require the announcement of a tender.
The decision is astonishing, because eDOK 4.0 was practically completed. - Work on him was suddenly interrupted in unclear circumstances - writes the newspaper. Meanwhile, the construction of a new system is associated with large expenses - it is to absorb PLN 45 million. The second (PLN 48.6 million) will have to be spent on maintaining it for the first 5 years.
The new project will be called EZD RP.
The tool is to handle the flow of electronic and paper documents inside the office as well as incoming correspondence. It will also help you manage files, documents and archives.
The system being the product of the project will be made available from 2022 on non-commercial terms to interested public administration entities - we read on the website of the Ministry of Digitization .
The undertaking will be financed by the European Union and the state budget under measure 2.2. "Digitization of back-office processes in government administration" of the Operational Program Digital Poland for 2014-2020.
