The Black Shark 3 Series was the beginning of March of this year as the world's first 5G gaming smartphones presented . The main difference between the standard and professional models is the size and resolution of the display.
It's been over a month since these two devices were introduced. Only now are the panel suppliers known . The OLED displays come from Samsung Display and BOE.
According to industry sources, the 6.7 ″ OLED panel of the Xiaomi Black Shark 3 is supplied by Samsung Display with a resolution of 2,400 x 1,080 pixels. It is the same OCTA OLED panel that the company delivers to Huawei for its new P40 models.
Samsung Display was the sole supplier of the displays for the Black Shark 2 and Black Shark 2 Pro. The Xiaomi Black Shark 3 Pro has a 2.5D OLED panel with 7.1 ″ and a resolution of 3,120 x 1,140 with additional touch technology from BOE.
However, the OCTA technology used on Samsung display panels and used on the standard Black Shark 3 model is better than BOE's add-on touch panels on the Black Shark 3 Pro.
