Many companies quickly realized that their involvement in the fight against the crisis caused by the coronavirus epidemic would benefit absolutely everyone, the same. Zygmunt Solorz and Grupa Polsat have been involved in assistance activities for many social groups since the beginning of the pandemic. "We are a Polish company and it is natural that we decided to act"
- We worked side by side with millions of people who devoted their time and resources to support for health care. In this way we fulfill our social mission. I would like to appeal to everyone to remember that also after a pandemic many people, children or hospitals will require support - says Zygmunt Solorz in the press release sent to us.
Recent initiatives include, among others, handing over respirators to infectious hospitals and a concert for Silesia prepared and broadcast by Telewizja Polsat. Twenty modern respirators worth almost PLN 3 million are a gift from Plus and the Polsat Foundation. Currently, they are delivered to hospitals throughout Poland.
The most significant past activities include the purchase of 200,000 tests for coronavirus along with the necessary laboratory equipment, purchases of medical equipment, a special advertising block at Polsat, as well as handing over 2,200 tablets to digitally excluded children.
