Huami launched Amazon s Zepp Z smartwatch with Alexa voice assistant

Huawei Xiaomi launched the Zepp Z smartwatch yesterday. This new smartwatch is the second smartwatch under the Zepp brand (and if you count the Zepp E variants as a separate watch, it will be the third watch) and it has a special design and can be called the advanced version of Amazfit GTR 2.

The Zepp Z uses a titanium alloy bezel, the same material used for buttons and frames. Huami says it has been polished 5 times more expensive than smartwatches to prepare the final look of the frame. Its 22mm leather straps are attached to the watch face to complete its classic look.

The Zepp Z has a 1.39-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 454 x 454, which is powered by a 340 mAh battery. Using the Zepp app, users can select the desired design from 50 clock pages. They can also upload their photos for use.

This watch has many sensors including SpO2 sensor to detect saturated oxygen, 24-hour heart rate measurement; A geomagnetic sensor; Gyroscope; Barometer; accelerometer; And is equipped with an ambient light sensor.

There are three buttons on this watch. The top button, called the health button, can be adjusted for quick access to heart rate measurement, SpO2 level or stress level. Huami says the OTA update enables this feature.

The classic adjustment screw is used to adjust this watch, and users can rotate it to go to the menu list and press to select an option.

Just like the Amazon GTR 2 and GTS 2, the new Zepp watch has Amazon Alexa voice assistant. Users can use the built-in microphone to call the assistant to set reminders, ask questions about the weather, and control smart home compatible devices. This feature is available through an OTA update. There is also an offline assistant that supports up to 58 voice commands.

The Zepp Z has GPS and GLONASS, is water resistant up to 5ATM, and can track a total of 12 professional sports modes. There is also a PAI health assessment system.

This watch has a battery that can hold a charge for up to 15 days for normal use and up to 30 days for basic use. This device connects to the phone via Bluetooth 5.0 and works with devices running Android 5.0 and above and iOS 10.0 and above.

The $ 349 Zepp Z will go on sale in the US and Europe later this month and will be available for purchase on Zepp and Amazon. Hawami says an ECG version of the watch will be produced in the future if approved by regulators.
