Samsung says goodbye to a real smartphone legend
Samsung finally says goodbye. A smartphone legend, which is basically responsible for the fact that we now only use oversized smartphones, will soon no longer be built at all.
Samsung stops production of Note smartphones
It has been known for a long time that Samsung will probably say goodbye to the Note series completely. The South Korean company has not yet officially confirmed the move, but everything speaks for it. After all, there was no longer a Galaxy Note 21 this year and the S Pen is instead used in other smartphones such as the Galaxy S21 Ultra or Galaxy Z Fold 3. It has now been announced that the production of the last Note smartphones will end at the end of the year (source: ETNews).
Accordingly, there will be no smartphone from Samsung at all from the Note series in the future. A Galaxy Note 22 Ultra is no longer planned. Instead, the Galaxy S22 Ultra should become even more of a Note smartphone, where the S Pen can even be pushed into the housing. One can assume that Samsung will expand the S-Pen support in other smartphones .
This also marks the end of a small era. With the first Galaxy Note, Samsung built a smartphone that was huge for the time , where other manufacturers were selling much smaller devices and saying that nobody needs a larger display. In the meantime that is history and Apple has also realized that.
The Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra are the last Samsung smartphones in this series:
Samsung Galaxy Note has to make room for fold smartphones
In the future, Samsung will present the Galaxy S models at the beginning of the year and then the new folding smartphones in the second half of the year. Some models of it will be equipped with an S Pen and at least carry on the legacy of the Note series a little .
