Earlier this month, it was announced that Samsung was reducing the performance of more than 10,000 apps on the Galaxy S22 series devices and the Galaxy Tab S8 series. The Samsung boss also used the shareholders' meeting to counter allegations that the group was reducing the processing quality of its products in order to save costs . There is no truth to these allegations.

Samsung provides positive news with long software support
The negative headlines about the performance throttle are a black spot on Samsung's clean slate . More recently, the South Korean group has caused positive reports, mainly due to its long software support. There was only recently a security update for the now four-year-old Galaxy S9, and many older Samsung smartphones and tablets are getting new camera functions that were previously reserved for the Galaxy S22. The rollout of this software update has recently started.
