Honor attacks with three cell phones: New middle class comes to Germany
Honor wants to win new customers in the near future with three new mid-range smartphones. The Honor X7, X8 and X9 cell phones are ready for global launch and some are strongly reminiscent of models that are already available in China under a different name.
Honor: New X series is coming to Europe
The Chinese manufacturer Honor, formerly a subsidiary of Huawei, is now targeting the middle class after the upper class. There are three new cell phones from the X series that will be presented shortly and then made available globally. Some of the smartphones are models that are already available in China with quite similar equipment under a different name.
Externally, the smartphones are quite different. The Honor Play 30 Plus model should have stood for the Honor X7 . According to a first leak, the cell phone has an LC display with a diagonal of 6.74 inches. A MediaTek Dimensity 700 with 4, 6 or 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage capacity is part of the party. Selfies should be possible with 5 MP, while there is a dual camera on the back (13 MP and 2 MP).
The Honor X8 is significantly better equipped with its quad camera, which allows up to 64 MP. There is also a wide-angle sensor (5 MP) and two other lenses, each with 2 MP. The LC display has a diagonal of 6.7 inches. Honor has probably opted for the Snapdragon 680 for the processor, so 5G has to be dispensed with. 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of data storage are available (source: Gizmochina).
Most recently, Honor introduced the Magic 4 Pro:
Honor X9: The global Honor Magic 4 Lite
We already know the 5G smartphone Honor X9 as the Honor Magic 4 Lite. The highlight here is a particularly large display, which is 6.81 inches and offers a refresh rate of 120 Hertz. The processor used is the Snapdragon 695 with 6 or 8 GB RAM and 128 or 256 GB storage capacity. The 4,800 mAh battery can be charged with 40 watts. Photos are 48 MP on the back and 16 MP on the front.
The launch of the Honor X7, X8 and X9 phones is scheduled for March 29, 2022 . No information is available about the prices yet.
