Vivo X Note: Leak confirms 7-inch display and specifications
Vivo has hinted that it will launch a premium flagship phone called the Vivo X Note sometime in 2022. This could happen sooner than expected. The flagship has now allegedly appeared on a Chinese dealer website. There are a number of interesting specs to read about the phone, including the larger-than-average display.
Vivo is expected to launch two styles of flagship phones this year: the Vivo X Note and the Vivo X Fold, with the latter aiming to be more or less the foldable version of the former. The X Note is said to be equipped with a 7″ panel, as you can now read.
The Vivo X Note is said to be available in 2 versions, with 12GB RAM/256GB storage and 12GB/512GB storage. The site seems to confirm the design from previous renders and also mentions the 7″ display again. The latest 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor is said to be installed underneath.
This newer type of sensor could allow for a larger "target area" for userprint authentication, and therefore faster and more accurate unlocking. It is also claimed that the panel that will be installed is said to be Samsung's latest E5 with a 2K resolution.
It is said to have a refresh rate of 120 Hz, plus there is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, a 5,000 mAh battery and the ISOCELL GN1 as the main sensor. As for the launch date, it is most likely set to be unveiled in April 2022.
