Anyone who was flirting with the rollout of Android 13 in August should be disappointed. Because now there is solid evidence that Android 13 will be distributed to Pixel smartphones in September.

Google has now published the safety instructions for Android 13. They talk about Android 13 having a patch level of 2022-09-05. So we won't get Android 13 until next month.

Also on the info pages for the Android Security Bulletin August 2022, Google does not mention Android 13, here you can read something about Android 12L. So everything speaks for a release of the latest Android iteration in September.
