Google is now rolling out a new version of Android Auto. First users report that version 8.0.623314 was offered for download and installation. And the jump to a new major version number should portend big changes.

Is the "Coolwalk" interface coming to Android Auto? The users have been waiting for this for months and after all the new user interface was always advertised as a summer update. Well, summer won't last much longer.

Android Auto has probably been available for download since August 12, and the new version is available on APKMirror. "Collwalk" is not yet activated there, so Google will probably have to flip the switch again for it.
