PlayStation 5: Sony raises prices
Sony increases the prices for the PlayStation 5. For a console that is actually hard to get, it's a bold step. Sony will raise prices in "selected markets", including Europe and Germany.
The Sony PlayStation 5 will soon cost EUR 549.99 with the drive and EUR 449.99 as a Digital Edition. So Sony is increasing the prices for both models by EUR 50.00 each. Buying at the old price is pointless, once again the PS5 is sold out.
The new prices are effective immediately. So that means that a bargain at Christmas is not possible this year. It would have been a stroke of luck to get one of the rare consoles anyway.
